Job Summary BV Transformation Opportunity:
As the Subcontractor Relationship Manager, you will provide a single point of contact for subcontractor sourcing needs. You will facilitate strategic relationships development with key subcontractors to ensure capabilities are leveraged across business opportunities. You will track and understand market trends for subcontracted trades. You will support in the mitigation of project risk by building strong partnerships in the subcontractor community to ensure fluid communication, quality execution and expedited dispute resolution. Key Responsibilities Help in developing a pool of key subcontractors that can be leveraged across market sectors Develop and implement sourcing strategies that improve subcontractor satisfaction, improve performance, and drive down cost Lead the process of identifying, vetting, and recommending potential subcontractors in support of business needs Establish subcontractor performance indicators (cost, quality, schedule and safety); measure and report performance against goals Maintain awareness of changing market conditions, as well as strategic business directions, that create opportunities for better utilization of our subcontractor base Management Responsibilities Individual Contributor Minimum Qualifications BA or BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred. Years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including construction industry knowledge and typical subcontracting elements (pricing structures, T&C's, scopes of work). Knowledge of Subcontracts and supply chain industry trends All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following:
criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the field (1 full-time field assignment preferred) Ability to analyze key performance indicators and proactively resolve negative trends Preferred Competencies Understand construction means and methods Market industry knowledge Strong communication and work affectively across groups Understand commercial T&C's Has the ability to resolve issues and influence outcomes
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
